We are looking for operators for our foundry in Södra Vi!

About the Operator Position

As an operator in the foundry, you will work in a modern and technologically advanced production environment. You will be responsible for monitoring the casting process and handling die-cast components. The work is varied and involves close collaboration with colleagues from several departments.

  • Process monitoring of the casting cell

  • Handling and control of die-cast components

  • Working with and around technical equipment such as casting machines, robots, hydraulic presses, and in some cases, blasting, tumbling, washing, and X-ray

  • Working according to established work, control, and packing instructions

  • Performing documentation according to applicable routines

  • Sorting and quality control of components

  • Performing 5S and AM tasks according to applicable routines

  • Preparing and assisting with tool changes and repairs

  • Prioritizing tasks based on the current production plan

  • Collaborating with other departments during production disruptions

 

We are looking for you

We are looking for someone who thrives in an industrial environment and wants to be part of a technologically advanced production. You may have experience in manufacturing or foundry work, but this is not a requirement; the most important thing is your engagement, attention to detail, and willingness to learn. You are responsible, quality-conscious, and have a natural interest in technology and how things work.

You enjoy working in a team and contribute to good collaboration, while also feeling confident in taking responsibility and working independently when needed. Safety, order, and cleanliness are natural parts of your work approach.
